This multi-part lesson demonstrates how Recurring Dynamics of History can be taught in the classroom. It’s titled “Democracy is Fragile; It has repeatedly fallen to authoritarian rulers.” Available in online and printed formats at https://futurefocusedhistory.blog/recurring-dynamics-of-history-sample-teaching-module/. Enjoy.
Hi Mike,
I can’t leave comments on WordPress. I had a WordPress account and it won’t accept my email addresses anymore.
This is Fred Melchiorre, retired History Teacher. I had contributed some ideas for the list of History Principles awhile back.
The module you sent is great. It ties history into what’s going on now in the United States. I love the different stages of the lesson and how it progresses from knowledge to critical thinking. The set up is similar to lessons I used to set up for my US History classes.
Did you create these yourself?
I know I am retired, but what can I do to contribute to the lessons if you need someone. I am in New Jersey. Not a salesman though.

Fred- Your comment did come through, and it’s posted on the blog. Thanks for the offer of assistance. I’ll probably be taking you up on that. Cheers, Mike
Thanks Mike
